Quick eBay question

my stupidity but hit buy now rather than save to basket, contact seller within 2 minutes asking to cancel the purchase and refund via paypal.

Seller is saying he can refund but minus the 10% eBay selling fee - is that right? Does eBay charge seller even if purchase cancelled and refunded? Seems odd

If the sale is correctly cancelled eBay will refund the final value fee (the 10%) so there shouldn’t be any deductions - assuming it’s done correctly

sent seller a link - may be innocent mistake or he is just trying it on
