Tenzing Energy Drink - the new sugar free haribo?
Discussion
Yes that’s it’s folks, as I write this and share far too much information it occurs that I’ve found a replacement for the sugar free haribo (or was it gummy bears?) that we know too much about now...
The backstory being that today at work, there was a chap in the canteen handing out free cans of a new British based energy drink - Tenzing. It’s all natural ingredients. It was free. And importantly it was ice cold, where the office was slightly too warm for comfort.
As I graciously accepted a can I didn’t really read much of it but i opened it and popped it in the drinks holder in the car to enjoy on the commute home. It tasted ok but was clearly no substitute for Red Bull or Monster as I had no desire to throw it at another motorist or cover my car in lurid green striped and a Hoonigan sticker.
Returning home all seemed normal enough, my wife chatting on the phone to her sister and so I picked up my baby daughter for a cuddle and the usual cooing she does at me. But this peaceful idyll was soon to be ruined. Something does not feel good down there yet I think to myself I can probably hold off for a bit longer while my wife carries on her chat on the phone. Also of course I don’t want to break the harmonious balance of a happy baby who isn’t crying but is happily in my arms laughing away.
Another rumble. Smells a bit more ripe than usual and I wonder whether baby needs a fresh nappy so upstairs we go to the changing mat. Nope, nothing more than a bit of a wee there - must have been me. Then another rumble. This time I know it is not going to be contained for much longer and I have to shout down to my wife to get her upstairs ASAP. I can’t leave the baby on the changing mat and wife doesn’t get the urgency - and with all the windows in the house open I wasn’t keen on shouting ‘GET UP HERE NOW BEFORE I s
t MY PANTS!’ in case the neighbours hear me. I just about manage to bend over and put her in the bouncy chair without anything escaping before the fastest poo-jog-run across the landing to the bathroom ever, almost knocking my wife over as she comes up the stairs still on the phone.
Sweet relief at last! A few minutes later and I’m back to normal and wife is still chatting - by now having of course given my sister in law too much info about the situation I was in.
A happy ending you might think, but beware - do not buy this product unless you are happy to befall the need to use the bathroom in short order at least twice more in the next half an hour! I’m hoping this is the third and final time just as I had hoped it was the second and final time 15 minutes ago, just as I hadn’t even considered that there would be further repercussions after the first sitting!
The health benefits of crapping out everything I’ve eaten today must be fantastic though, right?

I love a good 'almost pooed myself' thread.

Not going to lie. Speed limits were not kept to.
