OK, there are many things in fashion I do not get, but the ripped jeans fashion has been around for ages now, can anyone get why?

It must be one of the longest running fashion things. It never really vanishes, just has a resurgence every few years.

Back at university in 1991 girls were wearing ripped jeans.

I think they look good on the right person. Facial piercings and all. Don’t wear what you don’t like, wear what you do like. Pretty simple.

Yes, I was going to say 1990 is when I first noticed them. Ripped jeans are fine, but these days some are all rip and no jeans. Women walking around like they've been attacked by wolves.

The fat bird from goggle box doesn't seem to own anything else. Tragic.

I get the aged blue jeans that have faded and ripped, I don't get the perfect brand new black jeans with rips just in the knees.
