There’s been a good thread about aftershaves, but for those of us that have moustaches or beards or both, what products do you use, beard oil, moustache wax ?
To start it off I use Aqua di Parma beard oil but I’m looking for a good moustache wax.

Occasionally I get my trimmer and make my beard slightly less unkempt.

This isn't a beard, it's stubble. Beard implies intent, whereas this is just cba to shave.

It's more David Bellamy than David Beckham, though... And I can't shave now until winter, because I'll have a white chin and cheeks to go with the sunburnt rest of my face.

I had a crack at a full beard last year. This took 5 months.
I didn't trim it or put any crap on it apart from the odd bit of Guinness froth.

Occasionally I sit in the garden with some scissors, a big comb and a mirror then hack away at it till I look less like a cave man.

I generally us Percy Nobleman products - shampoo, oil, wax.

Although i gave the L'oreal range a go recently and got on well with the styling cream.

Then I use a a combination of a comb (goatlifestyle) and a brush (Percy Nobleman)

I stopped using beard oil and switched to bear balm. Tough the oil smelled good and was good for my skin, it didn't do a thing for my beard. I tried some balm on recomendation of my barber, it has the same effects of the oil but it also acts like a mild wax or pommade would for your hair. It also keeps your beard hair soft and in shape.
I use the scented Grave Before Shave balms along with their brush: http://www.gravebeforeshave.com

I use Bulldog beard shampoo as I can get it in Sainsbury's, I use their sensitive skin moisturiser too.

Beard oil I've tried various makes; Percy Nobleman, some stuff off ebay (can't remember the name), if the wife is at a fair she'll pick up a bottle for me, generally they are all good but the best I've found is The Body Shop, Cedar and Sage; my sister is a Body Shop rep and they've only recently got into beard stuff so she got me a bottle, it's a lovely smell and just right in terms of oilyness, plus it has a pump dispenser as opposed to a pipette so is is less faff to apply, I've also got a bottle of Bulldog oil too; the Bodyshop stuff replaced it, it's fine but nothing special but it does the job.

I do have a quarter of a tub of Percy Nobleman beard balm but I rarely use it, I don't really see what it offers over oil, if I use it, it's only because it's there or because I've run out of oil; I'm unlikely to replace it.

All my mates take the piss out of me for oiling up my beard (they also take the piss for me moisturising too) however if I don't put oil on it, it just becomes a dry mess.

I'm never sure how often to oil it though, I do it in the morning but by mid afternoon it does start to look a bit shabby so perhaps I need to do it twice a day?

But at least it will stop his beard squeaking.

Scruff stuff is very good, they do a subscription service for £6.95 a month with a new different "flavour" bottle each month.

You need a head to chin transplant, that beard is a bit pathetic to be honest.

You could try smiling too. Did you not know you were having your photo taken?
