What do you call them, where are you from to be calling them that and are you referring to underwear or trousers?
I wonder where the term came from.

Personally i'm a Keg/trouser man and from Yorks, I've always liked strides though biggrin

Not a term I use but to me keks means underwear. Never heard anyone call them ‘kegs’.

From Australia, pants refereed to anything with two legs that covered up the important bits. Shorts, trousers, stubbies, hot pants. Underwear is called Underpants over there.

Never heard them called "kegs", thats a new one to me.

Kegs for trousers when I was young (Southern Scotland) but not heard the word for a while.

Anyone else use the word 'pleuks' for acne?
Came up in conversation between my wife and I (50 somethings) the other day and my kids who were there at the time (20 somethings) didn't know what we were talking about.

Well coming from Oz you wouldn't would you?! Mind you, you never wear trooers anyhow (that's Scottish).
I did a bit of a search on the aforementioned 'Strides' and apparently you should be familiar with that term, I think we may have sent it over there (along with all with our crims) and to the US too, but no longer use it much here.

My girlfriend is from Ayrshire and she calls them 'pleuks'. Having said that, I'm convinced her family have their own dialect, as they seem to have all sorts of words that other Scots don't understand.
