So I have size 12 feet and have never really liked any of the casual shoes I have as they tend to just look like that average sized ones have have been extended, therefore accentuating my clown feet.
Just wondering what trainers / outdoor shoes anyone else with big feet are into that look half decent??

I've got size 13 feet and have resigned myself to having the feet of a clown, so I just go with Converse Chuck Taylors and go with it. haha smile

Size 12 isn't exactly out of the ordinary (in terms of how they look) unless you are 5ft5 and weight 8 stone.

This, Chucks is always the answer [I'm a size 12 too].

+3

I have a variety of Converse and Vans (size 11). They all look much better than something with a wedge sole. I think it's because of the lower profile.

I'm a size 12/13 depending on the shoe.

I am a big Adidas fan in general, but these look good on big feet:

Exactly, I think they're pretty timeless and good for driving in. I remember buying these originally when they were £25 now double the price. I suspect when my dad used to buy them they were probably about a quid haha

Size 13 here -

Upto this year, I have always gone with Adidas Gazelle - they go up to a 14 I believe.

This time I've gone for the Nike Flex Running shoe (I'm no runner - just wear them as trainers!!) they are a really nice looking shoe and they are unbelievably comfortable.!

Big feet in proportion to a big body doesn't look like you have clown feet, unless you are about 5ft with size 12? biggrin

I'm about 6'4 and a 12 but one foot is about half an inch bigger so 12's are generally too small and 13's are too big!

Trainers with mid/high ankles don't look as long in the shoe though because it's bulkier at the back of the shoe.

I’m a size 12 and have never really thought about how big my feet might look! I wear mostly Adidas and Merrill stuff and can usually get what I want in my size. Currently wearing a pair of classic Sambas, but have a tidy pair of Chile 62 also - neither look like skis. Vans, Converse and Tiger usually look fine too.

How about you try Nike Windrunner

They have a two tone colour, the front part is two tone and can make them look smaller as your eye is distracted by the inner and outer colours - Google it you will see

These look good actually. I too need some new trainers and I suffer the same problem as the OP, size 12/13 feet.

Converse have been good to me but they don't always last as long as I'd want, may have to try these or similar.

Size 15/16 here rolleyes

I used to wear really wide skate trainers to hide the length a bit, stopped caring now and live in converse, pumps or whatever else takes my fancy.

If you are appropriately dressed you can get away with having big plates like these chaps
