Neat little inventions/innovations

[Shakermaker]

What little inventions or innovations have you seen that probably solve a very minor concern (or solve a concern they have invented) but which otherwise you think is quite interesting?

The primary business of the company I work for is cleaning, and so at our head office they have a number of the innovations dotted around for us to use and see, with an explanation board next to it, ideally so we can remember to sell it to people if we are that way inclined.

The one I think is most useful, having seen people discuss it on this very forum in the "things which annoy you" thread is a small unit which sprays a mist of disinfectant onto the door handle in the toilets every time the door closes. Thus killing many of the surface germs, just in case the person in front of you didn't properly wash their hands.

What have you seen?

There is a device that keeps chasing me around the internet in adverts for a thing that allows you to take shapes of rooms etc for cutting out onto tiles and what not. It looks like 6 yellow rulers with pivot points that can be tightened.

Anyway, i spotted one in my local Hagebaumarkt and they were 15€! I got mine from Wish for 5€ just in time for a load of tiles for the balcony to arrive.

Anyway, it certainly looks nifty and useful, ill report back whether it actually is or not in a couple of weeks.
