Has anyone else noticed this happening more and more?

The advert might be for a T shirt, Underwear or a bed sheet or whatever it might be and it will be priced at say £10, you just have to select your size / colour from the drop down menu and there is not a single option that comes out at £10, you can chose the smallest size and the plainest colour and it will be £12 or something.

Ebay should ban sellers who blatantly lie!

I find they say £1 to £10, the only thing at a quid is a paperclip or somesuch.

You could try reporting it to eBay.

Yes I see this a lot and assumed the cheaper item was a colour or size that’s out of stock

In the item i have copied and pasted, there is no 'small' option at all and as soon as you choose any size the price jumps up!

That’s what the ‘out of stock’ one is for. It’s bullst. But no one cares so forget about it.

I just had a look at the 'report an item' menus and there is no option that describes this scenario and no facility to put a description of the issue in writing!

Yes there is one colour that is listed as out of stock..is that how they get around it? they just say the one colour that they don't have would be cheaper than all the rest if they had it?

Atleast i now know which sellers to avoid smile

Ebay have their own forum, I suggest posting up on there.
It's quite a clever move by Ebay, they don't pay any operatives, just get the general public to work for them for free.
A bit like PH really.

Or a sample. The picture is of the item you want (say a roll of tape) but a very cheap price. There ae various sizes and quantities, but the cheap option is a small sample piece.

I stand corrected wink

Interesting that you can get a long sleeved one for less than a short sleeved one, I could just cut the sleeves off and sell them as leg warmers to very small people to save even more money!
