Don't read if you are not vaguely interested in a very trivial event. You have been warned
This evening we found an iPhone in the street, it was ringing so I picked it up. Couldn't answer it as the screen seems to be stuffed. We were on our way home after a nice meal out so decided to wait for someone to call so we could call them back on our phone. On way home someone called Dayle kept calling but I wasn't able to answer. For some reason it allowed me to call him (I am not an iPhone fan/geek so not sure how that worked!)
Cue me and the OH having a conversation with a drunken young man accusing us of winding him up and to put his girlfriend on.
Eventually we got an address out of him and will drop the phone off tomorrow. However since then he has been texting and phoning so much I have put the phone in the car to stop it buzzing all the time.
Why am I posting this? Well firstly I am really sad that wanting to return someone's property comes as a real shock to people, secondly if Drunken Dayle decides to do anything other than get to bed and wake up with a hangover, I have some kind of evidence that I am not an absolute s
t and did make an effort to get his girlfriends phone back to her and thirdly isn't this sort of crap what the Lounge is for nowadays?
Anyhoo, will post the next instalment of Drunken Dayle and his Dastardly adventures tomorrow...

Is Dayle the owner of phone ?
If he verbally abused me for finding and attempting to return his phone ,he wouldn't be getting it back.
My guess is the phone belongs to Dayle's girlfriend, he is drunk and thinks she is ignoring him!If he verbally abused me for finding and attempting to return his phone ,he wouldn't be getting it back.
I didn't think it through properly.....

So who is Mackenzie? Why would her/his mum go to such lengths to wind up poor Drunken Dayle? And why was Drunken Dayle so confused about where we found the phone? 25 miles away from where he lives? Will we ever know the answers to these vital questions?
Stay tuned for tomorrows episode...

You can turn it off holding down the power and home button for a while, the Apple logo flashes up, then it goes off and then turns off.
Not sure how you do it with an X
Thank you, though at the moment I may be underestimating Drunken Dayle's cognitive reasoning and thinking, fNot sure how you do it with an X
k it, it is in the car, I can't be arsed going outside to fart about turning a potentially germ ridden iPhone off just in case Chlamydia Chloe or her un trusting boyfriend decide to do something as intelligent as find my phone.Am I a bad person?

DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.I don't actually have any numbers. When Drunken Dayle called, all that came up was his name (albeit without the Drunken bit, that I immodestly admit was purely to gain PH comedy points)
Realising that all I would get if I held it to ransom would be a nasty rash, I quickly dismissed the notion and sadly I am nowhere near a canal. Though I do have a slightly damp cellar if that helps?
