I was at the library earlier in Wallsend, Newcastle tonusr their computers to print a document out (I don’t have a printers, how council blah blah blah) and as I was leaving one of the library staff was putting a ... Christmas tree up!

Now I know stores order Xmas stuff in January etc... however, it is a tad early being July 14th and getting your decorations up!

Stunned I was, the other councilistas present loved it though!

I s'pose if you're going to be knitting pressies for the grandsprogs in Sydney, you need to get started about now...

I don’t understand why people / businesses do this, wishing time away, it goes fast enough without help! I was in B&Q the other day and all the garden furniture is on sale! The is most of July and August to go, what are they going to replace it with. Fcensoredking Christmas decorations probably.

With the Xmas crafts book, maybe they are having a craft demo or lessons,in plenty of time for Xmas, and this is advertising. Hopefully it will get packed away soon.
If not OP, sneak in and burn it, they must be made to realise it's too bloody early
