Selling phone on eBay - bids from outside the UK
Discussion
It's been a long time since I used eBay and an even longer time since I used it to sell something.
However, I have two half-decent phones that I no longer have a use for, so listed them on eBay. Both are auctions and both will finish later today. However, I've noticed that while my listing clearly says I will only post to the UK, I have a plethora of bids from accounts registered in Zamia, Kenya, Peru, Jamaica and Argentina.
Most of these seem (?) genuine accounts a couple of years old, with some - albeit a fairly small amount of - positive feedback. A couple have zero feedback and are very recently registered accounts.
I wouldn't ship the phones abroad as I'm sensing some kind of chargeback scam here, so should I let the auctions run their course and hope I get a genuine winner or should I just cancel these bids from outside of the UK?

^^^ Just don't x 2. Gumtree and cash. They collect.
If you must use Ebay, photo the IMEI label inside the phone and the phone itself with the IMEI on the screen. Otherwise you might get a smashed one back claiming you sent a faulty item. Goodbye phone and money.

I sell on ebay and will sell to many countries and places apart from China, anywhere in Africa, Italy, any where in South America and Sheffield.
I have been cheated more than once either by the sellers or their postal delivery system to countenance selling there again, just not worth it.

Sheffield??
Made three sales to people in Sheffield and all have shown that the buyers were crooks. One person in Sheffield told me that mail that his mail that should have been signed for on delivery was very often simply pushed through the letter box. He said that it was fairly common proactice in Sheffield.
Therefore this meant that the seller could easily say that the item had not been delivered. This was a round 5 years ago and the system may have changed.
In two of the cases I saw the item that the buyer say had not arrived being sold by them on ebay. Ebay were told about this fraud and did nothing.
I had to repay the buyers because of their claimed non delivery, and of course, the items were not returned to me.
Sheffield may not be unique in this problem but my bad experiences have influenced the decisions I make.

That's not just Sheffield, it was normal practice for RM before they sold out, they do seem to have stopped this practice now which is annoying as i often find myself collecting tiny items that could have fitted through the letter box.
