Where are the smartarses

My only excuse is illness but I have a football tournament on Saturday I have arranged.

However I cannot seem to make it so every team only plays twice in a row then has a break.

We have 3 pitches, 9 teams. Each team plays eachother once.

I don't care about too much break time but I just want a break after 2 matches tops.

Doesn't matter which pitch.

Here's a rough one but as you can see some are on 3 times and one on 4 but I can sort the 4 issue out easily.

Anyone got any ideas.

I believe that in order for no team to play more than 2 consecutive games, there has to be an empty pitch at some point (your table needs 13 rows).
