How do I sign up for the annual £79 fee?

Everywhere I go on their website just leads me to the 30 day free trial, followed by £7.99/month thereafter. I don't want to pay £7.99 each month, I want to pay the one off £79 fee. Do I only get that option when my free trial expires?

Just go here - https://www.amazon.co.uk/amazonprime - and click on "See more plans".

Thanks, Ive tried that, but even when I check the box for the one off £79 fee, there isn't a 'continue' button, just an option to start my free trial.

I can only assume that if I check the £79 payment box, I then have to click on 'Start my free trial', and then I will be charged £79 afterwards?

Seems theres no way of having Prime without having the 30 day free trial first.

Why on earth would you not want a free month?

I want the free month, but don't want to pay £7.99/month afterwards, I want to pay £79 in one go.

Rightly so, it'll save you roughly £14. Just go for the last option above, you get a free month then pay the £79.

Will you use enough of their services to make the £79 fee worthwhile?

As above, you just pay the £79 after the free month with the one you got highlighted.

Sorted, thanks. Had to then choose the free one month trial but it stated I would then pay £79 afterwards.

Every now and again they offer it for £59 for a year instead. Not sure when/why or if you can find out in advance though.

What you can do if they do offer the discount is ring up, cancel your existing sub (they will refund the balance of months) and start a new one at the discounted rate.
