Hi Folks

I hope you're all well. Can someone kindly tell me the best way of finding information online about a particular topic?

The only 2 methods that I am aware of are using a search engine and creating a google alert.

Are there anymore that you aware of?

Thanks

Depends what the topic is - anything specific you're researching?

On a lot of subjects, I find that searching out a relevant forum often has a mine of first hand information, so if you want to know about photography, googling "photography forum" often leads to sites with lots of useful stuff. Using photography as an example, you might then go to a main website, which has a forum attached (e.g. Talk Photography). Asking in the appropriate part of the forum gets a lot of useful info, so if you're interested in specifically wildlife photography, there may well be a sub forum with people with specialist knowledge.

Apart from using google, there are a bunch of other search engines which might get you better results depending what you're looking for.

A 8-10 metre aerial fed through the phallus and deep into the bladder is more than capable of picking up the music of the spheres which should be happy to help.

Well - you are clearly aware of at least one other method.........since you have just done it. Ask a question on an online forum. wink

Hi folks

Many thanks for you replies..

I'm so sorry, but I think I didn't make my original question clear !

The question that I would like to ask:

How do I keep up with the latest news on a particular topic of interest?

Thanks

The usefulness of this post will depend on how obscure your "topic of interest" is but on the BBC news mobile app there is a section called My News. You can search for news topics using keywords and add it your My News. Then each time the BBC create a new article that is related to your keyword it will appear under that topic tab in My News.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs here. Some examples of my "My News" topics are the company I work for and the town I live in.
