where can i buy a little chrome L shaped bracket?
Discussion
I have visited some shops and been trawling Amazon and Ebay but i cant find what i am looking for.
All I need are two little Brackets (maybe an inch or two )to take some of the weight of a very highly polished (basically mirrored) bathroom cabinet. I want the brackets to be highly chromed, not brushed steel, i see some that are described as stainless steel but the images dont make them look like chrome.
I have found these on Alibaba which would be ideal but you have to order them from overseas in bulk:

They don't need to be as 'flash' as that though either of these would do if they were chromed.

Any suggestions?

Can you not get a couple of fixings through the back into the wall? Going to look a lot better than a couple of angle brackets I'd imagine.
It has it own internal hooks that clamp down onto a couple of hidden brackets at the back but the thing is very heavy and mounting it on the wall centred over the hand basin means I cant screw into any studs so i just think a couple of extra brackets holding the weight would be a good idea. Maybe screwing through the back into some more plasterboard fixings would be would be better but the back is only made of thin stuff..you may still be right though.
Food for thought.

I had to put up a similar cabinet that was the weight of a bus. Got round it by acquiring a bit of 1/2 inch Maybe screwing through the back into some more plasterboard fixings would be would be better but the back is only made of thin stuff..you may still be right though.

ply that was much wider than the cabinet.
I drew round it, took out the plasterboard and screwed the ply tightly to the studs.
This left the ply sitting 2mm under the level of the wall so I fitted the cupboard on its own
hefty brackets and plastered the ends of the ply to level.
Still there 10 years on.

That would work, but i have only just decorated and wallpapered that wall ..Would hate to rip it apart now ply that was much wider than the cabinet.

Adapt something like these?

Easiest way to find this stuff is usually by Google image search, eventually you'll find a UK stockist of bits.

That is exactly what i am after! But the f
king brackets costs nearly as much as the cabinet! How can they charge £45 for one little L shaped bracket?I think i am going to screw through the back of the cabinet as suggested above..it will look neater and only cost me a couple of screws and rawl plugs.
Thanks for your help everybody.
