Samsung A5. I dropped it coming out of the shop after an upgrade. They quoted £300 for a new screen which I declined. The back has continued to craze and presumably I will have to resort to sticky tape when bits start falling out. It works fine.

Damned if I can work out what that is, apart from a plane.

I'm no aviation expert but the engines look very close to the fuselage. I'm surprised the props don't hit it.

There's always the outside possibility that they thought of that and checked/sized the props accordingly before the first time they fired it up.

In 1941, A China National Airlines Douglas DC-3 lost most of its right wing in an accident. It was repaired by mating the wing from a previously crashed Douglas DC-2. The hybrid was known as the DC-2 1/2.

It was only flown like this back to base where it could be properly repaired.

Although it is a true story, the footage for the History Channel was "recreated". These is no actual footage of the incident.

Can’t believe anyone survived that airliner having a portion of its fuselage ripped off.
