1980? I hear it was a particularly warm summer. The skies over leningrad were blue. Corbyn is ready, proceed as discussed.

Alternatively the google translate app can do images if you hover your phone over the text. You might have to type it out though.

Thats the problem, I have tried the translate app and it doesn’t seem to like the handwriting.

Your prospective Russian bride is beautiful and has a nice tractor in her barn...

Sorry, I'll correct that:

She wants you to put your tractor in her barn.

How did you come to learn Russian might I ask? Or is it your native language?

It's not a very exciting story! At school I was good at languages but not much else. My school offered French and German so I did A-Levels in them. It was a boarding school and we had Russian people there and they piqued my interest. I also met a Russian girl on holiday in Austria when I was about 14 and we stayed in contact (she's still my closest friend now, although I haven't met up with her for three years).

I knew that I wanted to continue with German and pick up a new language and I chose Russian to take up at university. I rarely use foreign languages at all now but I did it because I wanted to rather than needed to. I haven't been to Russia for quite a few years now, which is a shame. I'll try to visit again soon hopefully

I would love to visit Russia, it would allow me to combine my two favourite pastimes, drinking and driving.

That's a great story!

I did German and French at school (I'm 30) and at the time I really didn't enjoy it, more fool me. I visit France semi frequently these days so I'm playing catch up with the language which is a real shame, totally my own fault of course, I could have had a decent base on which to build had I given a damn.
