This is the first time in 17 years i have purchased something on Ebay that wasn't what i paid for, although i have been sent 'wrong' parts for cars etc.
Anyone, in the title it stated it was an Autel DS708 scanning tool, which is what i wanted. But what i was sent was an Audatex VHC 011??Looks similar in a pic but obviously wasn't what i paid for. For the last couple of months i had learned as much as i could about the DS and how to carry out certain diagnostic procedures.,then i get sent something with different terms in the procedures etc.
Apart from that though there was a part missing and the onscreen keyboard is missing the bottom row!Seller is basically telling me because it says 'OEM' in the title i'm supposed to know that means it 'isn' t' a DS708?? But a similar branded model?

Simple. Raise a claim in eBay.
Not as advertised.

Link to the auction, or copy/paste the exact full wording? I suspect there's something in there that's a get-out.

First current result is...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autel-ds708-OEM-Pro-dia...
...which includes in the description "Audatex branding".

TD's fool proof way of dealing with this
It is DEAD SIMPLE as previous poster said
Simply go to the item and open the case.
Open it on the basis that the item is NOT AS DESCRIBED
If the seller contacts you asking you to close the case and he will send you another IGNORE HIM or respond with no thanks I prefer to do it via this case
The seller will have the amount "frozen" if it was paid for via paypal. That means if he has a paypal balance in credit it will be temporarily reduced by the amount of this sale.
If he is on a zero balance he will go into the red and any other sales he makes will only go to reducing that negative balance.

By opening the case as explained above the seller is responsible for the return costs. He can authorise a returns label which you then print out take to the post office or whichever courier service is involved and it can then be tracked. E bay know about the tracking
Doing it any other way means that you may pay the return postage cost and worse still if there is no record of areturned item you can be kippered

Just open the case

Yeah, Autels are cloned or just badly faked quite a lot on eBay. Try and get your money back and go to the guys at gendan.co.uk - though a proper DS708 is over a grand.
