The Missing Employee?

A little while ago, somebody linked to a story about some chap in America who was made redundant, but nobody told him, or the payroll department.

I was telling Mrs D about it last night, but couldn't find the story itself. Can someone here point me in the right direction?

No. It was a bloke who relocated, but during the move, he was laid off, so he ended up in a new office, with nothing to do. Apocryphal, if not true, and written by the person himself. Eventually, he found somebody else, in another city who was in the same situation.

I don't think I contributed to the thread, or I'd find it in My Stuff, but it was within the last year, I reckon, but the story is older than that.
