Or does it?

Hollywood stars come out the woodwork decades later to accuse.

US politicians are put on trial decades later to be accused.

The wanna be movie stars most likely kept quite so as not to upset their career progression. Perhaps in a time when things were not quite like today. Yet now it's my time to shout....

Kavanaugh ?

What are your thoughts on recent events?

My thoughts? Justice has no expiry date, however you have done your self no favour waiting 20 what ever years.

In the Kavanagh case, he's not on trial, but being interviewed for a very important job. So it really doesn't have anything to do with justice in the strict legal sense of the world: the standard of character required for a life position on the highest court in the land is somewhat higher than simply avoiding a criminal conviction.

Also, although the alleged offending may be historic, lying about his past conduct isn't and should in itself disqualify him from being appointed.

No idea, but after his performance in today's hearing, he certainly has a bit of a credibility problem.

His self-portrayal as a good, well behaved christian boy is very much at odds with his own yearbook blurb and statements from his room mate at the time.
