Yesterday evening we went to our local Sainsbury's - Keighley in West Yorkshire. In the corner of the car park there's a building behind a tall metal fence with a Network Rail logo on it. At the bottom of the fence there were three small kittens - maybe eight weeks old - and an adult cat which was clearly looking for food. We got some kitten food and left it there though they retreated behind the fence when we approached them. Is there any way to establish if the Network Rail people who use the building are aware of them, are taking care of them and, if not, if it's possible for the local cat rescue to gain access to the site to capture them?

I work for NWR and actually used work with the team that dealt with "incident reporting" etc which this would fall under, but they have since moved up to York.

I will drop them an email now to report it.

Why do you want the local cat rescue people to capture those Network Rail people?

Regarding those young felines, fresh kittens are always needed for the Sean Connery Joke thread.

Thanks for that. We're talking to Allerton Cat Rescue as I have a relative who works there. Their number is 01274 491984 if you want to drop it into the email.
