You only think you receive the money before you send your own hard earned off.
This. Can take weeks for bad (fraudulent) cheques to be marked as such by your bank, despite initially augmenting your bank balance. Let's go back to basics - no business anywhere on earth needs the sort of service that you would be offering to them.
This exact scam has been going on for quite a while by the look of things

ESP Technologies Group are printers in Kent so can't see the sales ledger being full of export orders. Slightly chequered past by the looks of it too

Even if it was legit, would 10% cover your tax or N.I. contributions?
You'd pay tax and NI on your earnings (the 10%) not the full 100%pc.iow said:
It's so obviously a scam, the only people who'll fall for it are the thickies.
What's to stop you banking the cheques and then do nothing? Are they going to sue you?Countdown said:

Unlikely. Either, they aren't real cheques and they'll just bounce anyway.Or, perhaps, they are real cheques and the people that are asking you to illegally launder their money a) know where you live, and b) aren't the kind of people who sue.

Because the money you supposedly receive isn't real. The send you a cheque for "£1000". You cash this cheque he bank credit you with £1000 on the assumption the cheque is valid. Thinking you now have £1000, you forward on £900 they requested, keeping £100 for yourself.
A few weeks later the cheque bounces and the bank take the original £1000 back off you, meaning you are now £900 down. Rinse and repeat.
Banks can actually recourse a cheque up to 7 years after it was originally cashed.
