Shisha?

Not flavoured vaping, proper hookah job. Anyone on here enjoy a bit of a smoke? I have a shisha pipe that my wife and I fire up every couple of months. I find my set up is inconsistent, I do it so irregularly I never get "the knack" right all the time. What do you find works for you? Best coals to use? Number of holes in the foil, height of water, etc.

Gave it up a while back in favour of vaping.

Keep your kit clean and use coals with less chemicals in them - like coconut coals. Also learn to pack the bowl properly.

There usually places to do this, Shisha coffee shops, you could visit one and ask advice, spy on the way they do it.

Not sure how its allowed as smoking is banned is public shops? is it just smoking of tobacco maybe?

The ones round our way are aimed at Asians/Muslims as they dont drink and socialise in Pubs.

Do it the odd time. Most days / nights when we were in Dubai as it's everywhere obviously.

Do it all the time too, not much better for chilling out in the summer than sat in the garden, beer in one hand an shisha in the other, love it!

Definitely go for coconut coals, heat them up really well too. Make sure the hose is clear of gunk, if you’ve got a compressor, run compressed air through it every now and then. I put extra thick foil on and prick it every 5mm or so, starting at the outside and going round in a spiral to the middle. Never failed me!

I did go to a shisha bar with some mates once, have never had such a frosty reception anywhere else! It was like the good guy walking into the bad guys bar in an old Western! Nice night in the end though, was good not being surrounded by pissed up aholes starting fights!
