A quick question.

I am selling a few bits and bobs on ebay. I have now received a few emails telling me I have "buy it now" offers however when I go to look at them ebay says I have no offers or they have lapsed (the lapse time period has not passed). This does not always happen as I have also had one or two which I have been able to go back to with a negotiation.

Any ideas, I presume that when somebody has made a "buy it now" offer they cannot just withdraw it for no reason?

Not a big deal as far as money is concerned as the items are low value but any thoughts appreciated.

I think the offer is only valid when there are no bids on the item, so if someone makes an offer it automatically gets removed if someone else places a bid.

Thanks, looking at it again that does seem to be the case. Can't quite see the logic though as it potentially prevents a quick sale at a higher price and hence more fees for ebay.....?
