Can you lay new floor tiles on top of existing floor tiles, thanks.

Assuming existing tiles are clean and in good condition - yes you can.

Use this as a primer http://www.mapei.com/public/COM/products/2916-ecop...

Then suitable good quality (C2 S1) tile adhesive.

Make sure you purchase a step ladder to get in and out of the kitchen.

Did it in a small bathroom many moons ago. Just needed a custom threshold made.

Must be able to. Was helping my dad strip his old bathroom and there was 2 layers of tiles.

Just make sure the original tiles and the subfloor is solid as well.
