I’m in bed shivering with a nasty cold. Ate 2 spoonfuls of food from the m&s meal for 2 deal. Been up since 3am shaking and coughing then been at work all day.
I’m absolutely exhausted.

Ditto took myself home from work at lunch time ill, feel like I have been run over by a truck. Started on Monday slowly getting worse. Mrs comes home and sends me to the spare room so she does not catch it. Meanwhile I had a few mouthfuls of dinner and struggling to keep down a warm vimto. Living the high life!!

Missus is working night shift.

I have just had chicken kiev (i think they all are missing the kiev bit nowadays!) and sweetcorn. Oven (yes i know!) chips were not ready so they came on a plate later (half thrown away).

And Sky News is on mute in the background whilst i am searching for a new job....although i have a telephone interview tomorrow with an aerospace company.

But i went out in the Aston to a mates house in Warminster so had a bit of a blast today so something was good!

And I'm about to tuck into a Chinese (are you allowed to call it that nowadays) while watching an old black and white movie. Kids are asleep. Got her flowers and a home made card today which she was delighted with. Bliss!

We've had a lovely afternoon stroll around the nature reserve, called into the chinese on way home for takeaway now sat utterly stuffed feeling rather sick. I don't think she's gonna get any inner ting tong tonight.

Finished work, came home and just plastered the bathroom ceiling. Cleaned up and checked on dinner - she forgot to get chips/potatoes so we are having steak, mushroom, onion rings and hash browns - with peppercorn sauce and aldi cider
