Is this an old fashioned scam, which will take me to an infected page, or are they up to something else?

This is an enquiry send to a business which doesn't sell furniture.

but I can not find the item anymore on your site,
it looks like this on this site https://bit.ly/FurnitureItem6423
I hope you will sell the product again soon,
mail me if you are going to sell it again, I'll wait

Who knows? Probably....

I have recently been sending out emails (apparently) with similar dodgy links. My first name and last name spelt correctly (I have an unusual name) and then some odd .com address. Quite why people would invest the time creating this stuff is beyond me.
