How much do you spend on your mum on mother’s day?
I’ve spent £30 or so plus a card over the past few years, having not lived at home and seem my mum relatively less.
Younger brothers spend close to £100, perfume, flowers for example however they still live at home so have no other commitments.
Am I a cheapskate? What’s the norm?

My mum hates the thought of going out on Mothers Day and being paraded out just for the sake of what day it is. Card and a small present more than suffice, don't think I've ever spent more than £30 and that feels like an expensive day for something marketed by card companies to keep business up during what would otherwise be a quiet period.

Hey that is the car that I've got my mum too.She is round for dinner on Sunday (she's a Vegan so it's always a bit of a chore trying to work out what to cook!) and I'll spend a tenner on a few bits for her, she's not into big spending and wouldn't really appreciate me spending loads.
