Depends.

Money, cars and stuff - improving.

Health, youth and looks - deteriorating.

I guessing you mean quality of life? As we pretty much physically start deteriorating from adulthood and I've accelerated this process by drinking wink

As ever with these things there's give and take.

The sleepless nights brought about by my young children are becoming a distant memory - improvement!
I got into running and got fitter - improvement!
Money is tight as my wife gave up work - deterioration.
But she's there for the kids and other stuff - improvement.
Since having kids I have sex ~4-5 times a year (Christmas, Valentines, Birthdays wink) - deterioration

the list could go on and on. biggrin

Deteriorating definitely.

Mainly due to being trapped in a 'career' I hate.

On the upside I do ok out of money wise, but not sure it's worth it much longer.

It's steadily moving closer to a time when I'll be dead, you'll be dead and everyone we know will be dead.

Apart from that, it's ok.

Deteriorating. Still, only 40 years or so to go then I won't have to worry about it.

Immediate life seems to be improving. Financial, career wise, marriage, health etc.

Where it’s deteriorating is the increase in worry of family members health.
One in their 50’s who is in and out of hospital all year and the other in their early 20’s who on the surface has it all but I don’t think they will be around in a year or twos time. I very much hope I’m wrong and all of us are doing what we can to try and make sure we are wrong.

Mother died in 2013, lost my focus and rock of life. Mid life crisis, no career, no house, no relationship, in that order. Been in a whirlpool ever since to be honest.

Been in and out of work ever since, trying to find something for my future.

Out of work now, never, ever get the jobs I want always the ones I have to take. Longer that goes on worse CV looks, and more obvious it is to employers I dont stay at places for long. Endless bad luck with work.

So my life is at an all time low and despite optimism about each new chance, the pessimism of what I know will happen soon takes over.

I struggle with interviews despite having hundreds, am not good at selling myself, am far too honest about what I can and can't do, hence I am here.

Life is a total bh for me at the moment.
