Amazon help center in India - useless.

Hi,

Sons kindle fire is within two year warranty. They have agreed to replace but there is a technical issue apparently between linking the payment to my address. Been told it was fine and all going ahead twice and now its back with technical.

Apparently it takes two days to fix any issues. It's been a month nearly now

I'm a prime customer and have spent thousands with Bezos.

fking useless does not cut it.

Is there a complaints procedure in place? If I have to speak to Sue, Dave or fking Peter again with a stupid posh accent I'll lose my mind.

It can't be that hard surely?

This is part of the joy of buying online... Not saying it right but if you bought something from Currys you'd of been in and out within an hour....

I've recently had a load of issue with buying from Amazon and especially stuff which isn't in their warehouse. But I got the stuff much cheaper than walking into JL or Currys.....

I do everything with Amazon through email or chat. Then you have the ticket actually documented.

I only really shop at amazon these days and never have significant problems. Returns are handled very well. Issue tends to be with sellers using the platform if anything (not had any joy sorting a airbed out so given up because life is too short).

Based on father-in-laws recent experience I'm going to say that's incorrect. Even JohnLewis have been painful once you're past the DOA stage.
