Lbgt' Ness... What's going on???
Discussion
Not being a fan of being pc... Had to get a few groceries in was stuck in sainsbury's car park where there was a huge banner earnestly stating that at 150 years old they're lbgt friendly......
What exactly about a supermarket wouldn't be?.... Hardly a hotbed of gender / orientation apartheid in the veg aisle....
Perhaps just being a little grumpy and have no bias against anyone... Unless scammy, lazy, feckless or rude but.... Why does some marketing genius (term used loosely) think that this was a good idea or made any valid point...
Just bl**dy stupid....
(yes I know 1/10...)

Not sure it's really worth getting upset about ... a massive capitalist organisation says nice things about a small, but significant, percentage of consumers. It's called marketing and it works because most people just think "oh, that's nice" and have a little but brief warm glow before trotting in to said storefront of capitalism to buy some random stuff.
Actually its LGBTTTQQIAA these days. I am offended you didn't know and demand compensation
or LGBTQ+ or something
Shame people need to identify under a 'minority' group because were all people at the end of the day. Cant wait until we just get on with things although all this will get worse before it improves.

It's pride month.
You can imagine the conversation though can't you.."We need a product so we can virtue signal about how progressive we are during pride month"
"Well, BLT sounds a bit like LBGT so how about a sandwich?"
"OK, so lettuce, bacon, tomato and.."
"Well we know all modern hipsters love avacado, so how about guacamole?"
"Get them on the shelves, we'll make a fortune and can tweet/facebook/instagram about it for a month"
It's all so f*****g cringeworthy it's unreal.

I also think there's a fear of being called out for doing nothing. Irrelevant people have the power to shame these companies into virtue signalling. Don't put the rainbow on your Twitter handle and a shouty feminist will call out for not being inclusive.
