Eh?

Are they falling over themselves to show how much they 'care'?

Why don't they have sign next to it saying they support heterosexuals too?

Odd.

Free advertising.
People will take a picture, stuck it on Social Media then everyone can fall over themselves to tell the world how wonderful Sainsbury's is.

The only things I regularly buy from Sainsburys are lamb's liver, kippers and petrol.

Their support for the LBGT community will not induce me to purchase more stuff.

Instead of wasting money on such idiotic and expensive promotional signs, they could support pensioners by lowering their prices instead of stupid '3 for the price of 2" offers. grumpy

Why should they support pensioners over any other group?

Exactly my point: why should they support any group over any other group?

Why not concentrate on supporting the community as a whole? rolleyes

Bigger banner at our Sainsbury’s perhaps 2m high 10m long

We have an lgbt set of police cars all painted up

Train station has had a flag for months now flapping away

Brtitish heart foundation has it all over their shop

For me I think it’s like grey mk5 astras, once you notice it, you can’t stop noticing it

There was some fella with a lgbt sandwich on the train as well!

It’s still pride month.

The OPs question is like why don’t they put signs up saying they ‘support fathers too’ on Mother’s Day.

I am guessing the reason this is being asked is because the OP had no idea it was pride month. Now he does, partly thanks to this sign.

There’s a lot of bandwagoning and I can’t see much of the LGBT+ community specifically shopping in signs with posters, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing to increase awareness.

However, clever marketing come through campaigns like this

They’d have been daft not to take the opportunity and I’m sure will have sold more pints off the back of it.

Odd.

It seems perfectly logical. Listing all the minority groups that they don’t proudly support would be a much bigger sign and you’re bound to miss a group out who would then be offended.
