Thoughts are wtih you. I lost my Dad 9 months ago and I never stop thinking about him, he was such a big part of my life, more than I appreciated. I was looking through our texts at 1am last night while I couldn't sleep, the last text he sent me said "I'm awake"(he was in hospital and had a sleep while we got some lunch), two hours before he died, that's something I can't stop thinking about, I even can't bring myself to remove him as my emergency contact on my phone.

I had my first birthday without him a couple of weeks ago, can't believe how hard it was, my Dad's birthday was not long after he died, so I was still in that numb feeling, this year may be harder.

Dance with my Father doesn't really hit me, but when Father and Son came on the radio, I was a blubbering mess, too much so to drive and had to pull over.

I dread the day it happens to my dad. I can’t bear thinking about how it must feel.

I lost my dad two years ago on the 30th of may, his birthday would have been on the 30th of this month, i lost my mum on the 7th of may this year, both of them died in my arms, tis my birthday next week, not looking forward to it and not gonna bother too much with xmas either this year.
