Anyone else cant stand dogs/dog people.

I cant stand dogs, every dog ive ever had a dealing with have annoyed me.
Someones house i go round, their dog just jumps all over and they think nothing of it as they are dog people and think its normal to let a dog jump all over your guests. When its not jumping on you its staring at you until you give it attention, and when you dont give it attention it barks at you, when you try to push it away it starts licking your hand thinking you want to play, it just wont f
k off, even ignoring it.
A neighbour who was 6 houses down, just let her new dog outside from 6am in the morning and it just non stop barked til she let it back in.
A friend of my partner brings her dog round and it just tries to jump all over yet again and wont leave you alone.
Been round multiple houses where the owners give their dog a 'kiss' and get saliva all over their face.
Urgh i just dont get the fascination with them. To top it off they usually smell and i cant imagine picking up their soggy st off a grass field is pleasent.
And the barking, non stop barking.

and most of the ones I encounter seem to know it too, horrible smelly thingsI had a girlfriend who had a pug. I hated the thing. Absolutely horrible little creature. Ugly as sin. Cross eyed. Had thick hair and kept shedding it everywhere. Her flat smelt. It licked everything, and made a horrible noise whilst doing so. In the beginning it used to try to greet me at the door by trying to jump all over me, it always tried to jump on the sofa with us, and then sneakily try to lick me. Every time we had food it used to come over and just watch us eating with its eyes almost popping out of its head in different directions. Whenever she let it outside into the garden it would run around barking its head off. It was always sneezing, especially when sad - because I used to push it away and tell it to fk off. One time it sneezed in my face. She used to let it onto her bed. I found that disgusting. Eventually it stopped coming into her room because I ed it off so much. Apparently it stopped altogether even when I wasn't round. I gave it no attention whatsoever and it eventually learnt to ignore me. I still hated it.

I have a cat and unless one was stting in my garden i cant see why id have a problem with any other cats as they leave you alone usually unless you entice them towards you. tting in my garden (or rather I bought a house that happened to have their lavatory at the back).Couple of hypersonic alarms appear to have solved that problem though. I do have to put up with beep beep beep noises in my garden however.

People are horrified when you say you don’t like dogs (after first assuming that you’re scared of them), and say things like “I don’t trust people that don’t like dogs”, but half the time they’ll go on to say that they hate cats. I don’t see why it’s so different.
I don’t like cats either, but they don’t particularly bother me. Don’t really know anyone with a cat though.

Can you like & dislike them simultaneously? I'm into mountain biking & dogs are the single biggest pain in the arse. I routinely get chased, growled at, barked at, ride over dog st that flicks up off the wheel & is fking disgusting because the lazy bd owners can't be arsed to pick it up because out n the sticks, they can get away with it.
My neighbours at the back let their dogs out for a good bark ten times a day which really livens up the summer evenings. On the other hand, they're appealing things when they're not busy eating their own st & trying to lick your face. Now I come to think of it, I have nothing against dogs per se, ttty owners are a different matter.

btw we have 4 working springers, I meet several dogs each day at peoples houses.
i find dogs to be very good judges of people on the whole and some people just to be judgemental even more wary of people dogs dont like

So many dog owners are full of self-righteous "Ooh he's fine, wouldn't hurt a fly".
You know that for sure do you? You know with 100% absolute certainty that if a small child accidentally steps on your dog's tail it won't instinctively bit deep into the child's face?
Just last week we went on a boat trip to the Farne Islands. A couple or people brought two terrier type things onto the boat. We got off, told the captain why, and took the next boat. Over at the boat office they said "Well we're dog friendly, people can take dogs on the boat if they wish".
Well sorry, but I'm not dog friendly and the thought of two hours on a crowded boat in choppy seas where the dogs, in an unfamiliar and environment could be vomiting, crapping, barking and just generally ruining my enjoyment isn't on. That's not intolerance, that's a perfectly reasonable stance.

I like dogs, but would never have one. Too much work. Cats are a far superior animal....very little work.
Men who have cats are by and large nicer people than men who have dogs. Men who have dogs want to be pack leader and have something who loves them and is loyal to them. They love their dogs but it's a symbiotic relationship. Men who have cats have no such insecurities, and are quite happy to lavish love and affection on an animal which basically couldn't give a fk if they lived or died. It's a parasitic relationship.
I have a cat for the sheer joy of having an animal and making it's life happy. But I know if I was smaller and it was bigger, it would rip my throat out in a heartbeat.
