I don't like cats. I don't like being randomly scratched when trying to stroke you. I don't like having my lap clawed when they are on my knee.

Their st smells foul when they bury it in my flower beds rather than do it at home.

Dogs have loads of amazing and varied breeds, cats basically vary from no hair to hairy.

And their owners tend to either be crazy single women or insufferably smug types.

Light me, Johnny.

Yeah, cats are only good when killed to death.

1. You probably smell of wee and vole intestines.

2. Your cats are waiting for you to faint so they can eat you.

My neighbour has a lovely fluffy little ginger pussy. She used to shy away from me, but she comes up for a pat and a tickle now.

Thankfully they are well trained so I do not smell. For sure they are planning to kill and eat me though.

I am allergic to cats, therefore, yes, I physically can't stand them.

Wouldn't hurt one, though.

I generally find people who dislike cats are not to be trusted.

I like cats, was brought up with them. Can understand why people don't though, their ability to go from all loving and affectionate to an angry flying ball of fur and claws in the blink of an eye is unreal.

Cats are amazing creatures. They make you work hard for their affection, and the fact that you know they are just waiting for the day that they can kill you makes it all the more fun. There is a reason all evil geniuses have cats. So much subtlety and sophistication to them.

Cat owners tend to keep themselves to themselves, which is nice, and rarely inflict their choice of animal on unsuspecting bystanders. Generally owned by more intellectual types too, which can be intimidating for insecure people.

They serve no useful purpose (I catch more mice than the three of mine together) but people choose to take care of them anyway. That says a lot about the types of people who serve them. Selfless, kind and generous, expecting nothing in return.

I admire them. I find them hard to love. No way is my money going towards supporting one.

Why do so called cat lovers , leave them outside 24/7? WHY??

They are of no use at all

When i see a police cat catch a criminal then i might consider it. Until them i will keep on giving cats that enter my garden to crap, initiative test on how to get back home from 50 miles away!!

Mine all live indoors. No fleas, no dirt, no pooing in gardens, no getting run over, or killed by a chav dog, and no killing of birds.

When we had them we just let them in and out as they pleased, no cat flap or anything you'd just hear them knocking on the kitchen window wanting in or patiently sat by the front door waiting to be let out. They're very independent are cats and love being outside, especially if you're in a rural area like me where there's plenty of hunting to be done. Little bugger once brought a whole bloody pheasant home once!
