Amazon Delivery Question

I'm an Amazon Prime member and on Sunday I ordered a couple of items.

• If I chose to have them delivered to my house both would be delivered next day (Monday).

• If I chose to have them delivered to an Amazon locker a mile from my house at a Supermarket both would be delivered next day (Monday).

• If I chose to have them delivered to a pick up point at a One Stop type place 200 yards from the Supermarket both would be delivered today (Tuesday).

Any ideas why they'd take an extra day to be delivered to the One Stop place?

Theyll do it as a consignment with other orders going to that location.

A combo of consignment for more popular drop off points and different carriers for other drop offs like One Stop, McColls etc. I believe some places less frequently used have set days for deliveries too.

It didn't make logical sense that they'd do a "special" trip to my house but not to the One Stop half a mile away.

I guess it's just how Amazon do consignments so don't over-think it.
