I’m not usually one to have a conspiracy theory but I’ve noticed very recently a significant number of things occurring that I am questioning:-

There have been a lot of power issues recently - quite a lot in London and today it is widely spread across the UK.

There has also been a lot of rail and underground disruptions due to power and signalling issues - in fact abnormally high.

Furthermore there has been a notable increase in computer hacking of businesses.

So are we under some form of cyber attack or is it just coincidence and a combination of weather issues, ageing infrastructure, poor maintenance?

All these events (including two mass shootings in the US) are designed to distract attention away from the arrest of Jeffery Epstein.

Don't forget about the Whaley dam.

It got angry because we can't have a 2nd referendum.

The woman at the chippy says there will be a terrorist attack soon that'll make 9/ll look like a bit of a scuffle.

She is never wrong, her prescience is linked to her awful eczema, the worse it is the better she can tell the future.

There is a theory that the power outages yesterday were partly caused by power companies trying to take advantage of the strong wind to cut output from gas station in favour of wind and make some kind of green point.

Not exactly a conspiracy of course.

I have a theory, which is that there is a definite correlation between belief in 'conspiracies' and cannabis smoking. I'll admit that my sample size is small, but IMHO the bigger the 'truther' the bigger the smoker.

As an ex stoner, I would agree with you.

But, just because I no longer smoke, it doesnt mean I have changed my opinions on the things that made me go HHmmm.. when I was baked all the time.

Maybe this was the 'paranoia' that is always talked about, but if that was the case I would think that I would look back on those days and wonder how i could ever have thought such things, but I dont.

Its a strange one.

TBF a lot of our power infrastructure is now owned/administered by the yanks, who've asset stripped, reduced personel, and who's attitude to preventative maintenance (and I quote CEO level) is "when it falls out the sky, that's when it's time to replace it"

remember the entire eastern seaboard of America going down a few years back? Yeah that.

I sometimes wonder if people are paid to sit in an office waiting for someone to mention the word 'conspiracy' so they can throw flat earther nutjobs and moon landing deniers into every topic. All we need now is the picture of the guy in the tinfoil hat, ussually that would have been posted by now..yawn.

If it were true, the Government would never admit it.

It will be interesting to see how things plan out over the next few weeks.

Will there be more outages or similar issues?

Didn't BA have a complete IT meltdown earlier this week?
