I like to walk to the shops and have all the major supermarkets within a mile of my house. The problem is that I can’t carry all the things I’d like to buy in bags. Is there such a thing as a shopping trolley that is acceptable for a man to carry, done some searching but can’t find one?

Thanks!

Rucksack? Then instead of looking like you're going shopping, you'll appear as if on the way up Everest if that's the kind of look you like.

Cargo Bike? With the upside that you can go selling ice-creams at the weekend!

Not sure, but I suggest going for one with wheels, you don't want to carry the trolley and shopping.

Whilst not being adverse to a bit of camp, I do draw the line at pounding the mean streets with a floral shopping trolley!

This is PH.

Get your butler/chauffeur/gardener/maid to do it or as a last resort if absolutely necessary get Waitrose to deliver.

Why not order online for delivery and just walk to the shops to buy an apple.

Just "borrow" one from the supermarket. It's what we used to do when we were students biggrin Tesco even sent a truck to the campus to collect them up after a while.

Either that or get a mobility scooter as I'm convinced half the people that use them are perfectly able bodied biggrin

I suppose this one could work: https://amzn.to/31SwtN6

Every now and then, tell people you just got back from 'Nam and if they look confused, say, "You don't know what it was like, man."

WTF is with this kind of thread? OP, why on earth do you give two hoots? Are you that insecure that what a random person in the street thinks of your shopping carrying arrangements would cause you an issue? Or is that the kind of judgmental person you are, so you believe everyone else must be?

In other words, I have no idea what might suit you. The best of luck in your quest.

This one looks quite heavy duty, even has an anti roll bar for nifty turns through the aisles!

Drive (spesh with your garage!) to further supermarket for the main shop.

Walk to closer ones for bits and bobs. If you still need to walk more, post a whatdog? instead of getting a shopping trolley. biggrin
