Smells scammy but equally could just be a low life berk with no people skills. No money or payment details handed over. See what you think.
Agreed to buy an item from a seller on FBM, not a private seller as such selling random items but some sort of business, probably not very legit. Item in question is a bunk bed. We're constrained on space and want a splittable one so not very many options.
Had a few discussions over messenger (the crappiest messaging service in existence) because no phone number offered, set up spec, finish, delivery, cost. All agreed, give us your address and phone number, delivery booked in for today, delivery department (probably Nobby in his clapped out R-plate Sprinter with rust stains down the sides) will call on the day or previous evening to arrange time. Fine with me.
No call as of last night, listing disappeared, messenger conversation blocked, no contact possible at all. They only have the name, address and phone number. No money changed hands. I don't expect to be getting a bunk bed today, even if I do they'll be turned round because with no comeback or details of the seller if anything is wrong with it I'm stuffed.
At the moment it's left child 1 sleeping on the floor because the old bed was flogged on Sunday, and I've had to hunt round and find an alternative.
What can they do with just name& contact details?
