A ridiculously early Christmas thing covered in bloody glitter just turned up. Now the side, the missus and probably the entire fking world has glitter on them until doomsday.

It's like fking herpes. Once you've got it you can't get rid.

And why is it here in October?? confused

He died in 1989 at the age of 84 so I reckon he had a nice peaceful ending in his glittery dreams.

Bit strong, but understand the sentiment.

Any birthday/Xmas cards received in our household with glitter on them go straight in the bin.

Yes!

I'm surprised there hasn't been an environmental backlash against the stuff!

Grand daughters x 3

I find glitter everywhere, including on me. They are also obsessed with slime. A great combination.

Try driving your own private hire car on night shift between November and New Year. Inside covered in it. Women wear makeup with the stuff in it.

The previous owner of my car was a woman. She and her daughters must only have worn glittery clothes. Even now, some 6 years down the line, you still get glitter reflecting back at you through the perforated leather. Not amount of vacuuming seems to shift it.

Lived with a guy called Gary who always nicked everyone’s stuff, food, cleaning stuff etc

I started to put glitter in my shower gel to teach him a lesson, I didn’t use it, but would change the bottle round so it looked like it was still in use by me

He did become known as Gary glitter and he couldn’t work out where it was coming from.

Incidentally I was in b and m bargains today, they had a massive bag of it for less than 2 quid

Haha

I was going to say the only acceptable use for glitter is packed into cards sent to people you dislike, but clearly I lack imagination.

Guess what's going in the work shower tomorrow...

Hate the stuff...

Had the Jag for 2 weeks, before being roped in to drive for a friend of the oh's wedding. Bride/bridesmade all made up with glitter.

Perforated leather seats.... Need I say more.

Was still getting pieces out with a hoover the last time I cleaned it before trading it in 2.5 years later....

feel your pain (fellow cab operator )

last thing you want is a minibus back in end of shift for a valet over the festive period, as you say absolutely riddled with the stuff, it does end up, its actually easier dealing with vomit that glitter

Doesn't even have to be private hire, just go on a few dates with a girl who likes glitter and/or sequins. 2 years after we split I was still finding bits the day before I traded the car in!

Ha this reminds me of a more buxom lady with a penchant for plunging necklines whom a friend and I used to see in town occasionally - commonly referred to as ‘glitter tits’!

It is an actual thing, naked boobs covered in glitter.

I have course only seen pictures but I bet women would get arsey if you had a good gawp at them in real life. This is despite them putting them on full display and making them all shiny and sparkly.
