Most of us have to do it, many of us hate it, some of us enjoy it. I love mine.

Let's see some pictures.

Here's mine, 12 miles of single track roads in the Scottish Borders, only saw two other cars this morning... Miserable

Luckily it is now in the past for me. I cant imagine the unadulterated pleasure of seeing it so often nowadays.

When I rarely commute, it tends to be all speed restrictions for smart motorway upgrades and works over miles and miles with no work going on except for a bloke and a wheelbarrow being watched by 5 others in a van, or alternatively random, unnecessary speed restrictions on completed smart motorways and poor lane discipline assholes clogging up the roads elsewhere.

Sometimes it is much worse... the... train... to... that... London... aaaaaaarrrrrghhhhh!!!

Mostly I work from home.

No pictures but a shame I can't capture the foul stench of the smoker sat near me with his filthy stale smoke invading my space.

I long for the day they have a carriage for smokers to sit in.

I went from ten minutes each way, being driven by someone else to 2.5 hours each way on public transport across London beginning of the summer.

Moved house and reduced it to about 1.5 hours each way on the m25.

I start my new job next week and it will be half an hour on my bike, mostly in the countryside. I can't wait!
