Humans to get number plates within 5 years

Someone, I trust dearly confirmed last night about the government's plans
to number plate humans.
It is easily feasible and the technology is there in all major cities
in the UK.
The argument will be a good one, anti-terror.
The number plates will not be like the ones
on vehicles but electronic ones.
We already have biometric passports.
The recognition number will be a chip in your ID
card. ID cards failed about 10-15 years ago.
However, new technology and will power
will get this through
Initially to be tried around central London
and then all train stations in London
and then rolled out nationwide.
You will get fined for not carrying your card
and this will make a lot of money for the government.
Importantly the system will be used against criminals
and terrorists by ID know threats and they will get pulled
up and searched/stopped.
IMO a very good, unintrusive way forward to reduce terror attacks
and track criminals.
IMO, anyone against this must have some sort of agenda against the
taxpyers, good, law abiding citizens of the UK and their visitors.

chip ? what about the criminals that would clone the chips or rip them out and live under the radar.... this wont work.
We already have a way to register humans and to identify them, and its pretty robust. Your DNA is pretty much unique and the chances of two humans having the same DNA. Even identical twins pretty much don't share the same DNA. So DNA profile taken at birth, end off.

Lot's of people, I "Trust dearly" would know if there were any plans to do this and would confirm it to me, I would have known directly until last year. They haven't because it's nonsense. Bio-metrics/facial recognition is close to being able to achieve all of this without any issues. to number plate humans.

The powers that be have done a fantastic job of conditioning people to think in certain ways, but you're a Muppet if you actually accept it.
People have a basic human right of privacy of action and thought. People behave differently when there is a chance of being observed. That doesn't mean they are terrorists, just normal human beings.
It's a trope that's pulled out a lot, but certain parts of the novel 1984 are very insightful and we do appear to be moving in that direction thanks to our own technology purchases.
