The 2019 End Of Year Good News Thread

Now at some point in the past I created a 'Good News' thread which was created to be somewhat of an antidote to some of the less uplifting posts we come across from time to time.

Therefore at the end of year 2019, I'd like to repeat this by inviting anyone to put forward any item of good news, no matter how large or small, which reflects a positive change which has happened in your life, circumstances etc.

Direct responses may not be forthcoming - but it hoped that the warm glow you have enjoyed will offer encouragement or inspiration to others.

Ahem. Allow me:

Finally chased down an ongoing fault which has affected my ability to take on work at times, so hopefully I will see better financial stability - and I'm already looking forward to a new diet (despite being somewhat sloshed at 1.42pm on Christmas Day!)

Apart from being lucky enough to have a lovely family that I get on with really well and live in a lovely neighbourhood with great neighbours, I am sat with my wonderful OH watching the mogs wreck the Christmas tree. They're having fun so what the heck, let the furry idiots get on with it.

I hope those who are less fortunate than I am have a much better 2020. Hugs to you all.
