Hey all, thanks! Thanks for the laughs over the last year, thank you for the fact that although this site and those that use it can be a mad shambles, when the tacks are down you all seem to be able to pull together to help the others either with words of wisdom or sympathy or kind deeds .

I hope the 'ask an MOT tester' thread has helped some of you and thank you for your replies to the ongoing thread about the RNLI Penlee disaster that I bring up every year.

Anyway, I hope everyone who contributes to this site has a wonderful 2020 and keeps on contributing to this great place we have!

I'll second that. As someone who moved to the USA in 2004, I find this forum a valuable insight back to the UK and what is going on in many areas. Hmm, now would I come back.....
