Help! Package from Bedford to Heathrow-ish

Folks,

PH can sometimes be brilliant for stuff like this. Needless to say, I am willing to offer beer tokens and eternal thanks.

I've bought a motorhome heater on eBay- Not huge nor heavy, but it's collection only from Bedford area. I live in Somerset.
As luck would have it, I'm due to go on holiday from Heathrow on Sunday... Flight is at 6pm. Between travel time and earache from my OH, there's no way I would get up to and back from Bedford in time.

Is there anyone who might be due to go to/from Bedford this weekend who might be able to pick it up and maybe meet me somewhere Heathrow-ish? Shiply is my second option, but I don't want to terminally ps off the seller and if I could pick it up whilst doing the Heathrow run!

Are you driving to the airport?

I can collect it and store it for you to collect when you get back from holiday if that helps. Can't get to Heathrow on Sunday though I'm afraid.

If all else fails I could pick it up in Bedford, if there is no rush to get it I will be heading to Devon at the end of the month so could meet somewhere en route to drop it off

Thank you very much, a kind offer... I was hoping to find someone going that way.

I think I’m alright though, have got through to the seller and he can leave it out for me to collect tomorrow... failing that he is happy to wait for my return.
