Coat wallet

Apologies, this is the kind of thread that I would normally open, tut at the incompetence of the author and move on.

I have looked and am struggling to find exactly what I want and failed.

The brief is a long wallet that's really thin.

I'm thinking a coat type wallet a little bigger than a 5" phone and about the same thickness.

The ideal would be leather, once opened cards on one side (6 is plenty) and notes on the other but big enough to be not folded.

In hindsight, about £20 sized, cards one side, notes the other.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the link but it's nearly the opposite of what I'm after.

For clarity, cards on one side and notes on the other, notes inserted without folding them for maximum slimness, I could live with just 3 cards to avoid overlap but expect 6 as the minimum available. Did I mention that slimness is the objective?

It's not as easy as it first appears.

It's not quite what you're after, and they are a bit pricey, but I came across this shop in Venice before Christmas and bought one of their purses. I like small compact purses and find it really difficult to get one that suits. I can't quite remember the size of this wallet but they are slimline.

Coat wallets - how do you find them in the summer with no coat? I guess they are a little too big for a suit jacket pocket or no jacket.

They are designed to fit into the inside breast pocket on a suit and are flat enough not to be noticed.

The top part of a suit is traditionally called a coat, not a jacket. A coat wallet is intended to be worn with a suit.

Years back BT Mobile did near enough exactly what the OP is after.
Left hand side one full length panel. with 2 slots for different sized notes separated by a wall. Other side slots for cards. Black leather with brass corner protectors and very well made. And thin
I just can't seem to find mine which is real shame. It fitted into a breast pocket and I used it when I wore a dress suit jacket and sometimes a full length coat.

Love it, too late though, bought an Ettinger and pretty happy with it.
