Living relatives, how many?

Mrs Caziques has done a lot of work on family trees, and we met an elderly lady at bridge the other evening who has 120 cousins.

It got me thinking, how old are you?, and how many living relatives do you have?

I'm 62.

2 parents
7 aunts/uncles
2 sisters
3 children
15 first cousins
2 nephews

total of 31

That’s all I’m aware of. 8 of us. Bit sad really. I’m 39.

ETA: I’m the youngest and this number has been the same since I was born, other than the potential niece/nephew situation .

Surely the list is endless? Your grandparents probably had cousins, and they have probably got grandchildren. Etc. So loads!

If we're just talking grandparents, aunts uncles, cousins etc.

I've got an aunt and two uncles on my mum's side, and on my dad's side I've got three aunts, two uncles and seven cousins.

Also my parents and a sister.

53 Years old.

Gave up on all of my aunts/uncles at my dad's funeral twenty six years back, so dunno who's dead or who's alive. Couldn't really give a toss.

Uncle and 2 cousins as blood relatives, that's it.

I have a Wife and 2 children (girls) as well, my family name will die when I do.

Deceased are both parents, a sister, 3 aunts and an uncle. I've outlived my father by 7 years thus far.

From the 14 cousins, I think there are maybe 5 children. My one uncle and aunt had 4 children and no grandchildren.

It's odd to me talking to people who are retired and who still have one or both of their parents around.
