War Paint - new makeup brand for men

From what I have seen, numerous brands have produced a handful of makeup products for men, however this one seems to be the first one that has really gone for it, and it appears that modern men have been very keen on their products.
"A make-up brand aimed at men will be available across the country after its trial on London's Oxford Street exceeded expectations. War Paint for Men won the backing of two investors on the BBC's Dragons' Den and began a trial in John Lewis' Oxford Street store in January.
The department store brand has now announced it will make the brand available online after demand was more than 50% higher than expected during the trial. The products will now be available across the country and will also be permanently stocked on Oxford Street"

People can do whatever they like to make themselves feel good.
I understand that maybe people who have scars etc might want to make them less visible to stop people (some) making comments or staring etc, no different to wearing a wig IMO.
Personally I think its rediculous, but then I think playing golf is rediculous too. I'm sure people think that me spannering on cars and generally being a grease monkey is daft too.

It's been clear to me for a while that car care products are sold to Men in a similar way as cosmetics for Women.
Fancy looking containers, questionable claims, nice smells etc. Clearly there are Blokes with money to burn on 'products'.
Fair play to anyone exploiting these types of Men.

I can't walk past the Meguiars or Auto Finesse shelves in Halfords without buying something that looks and smells nice. I don't even need it half the time.

Prince cha-ming! Prince char-ming! Ridicule is nothing to be scared of!
I think young men really need to get comfortable with applying make up to their faces. They're really going to need to be handy with the trowel when these face and neck tattoos finally fall out of fashion.
On a more serious note though. I've noticed more men wearing makeup. It will probably become more and more normalized as we become more and more accepting of people expressing varied and wide ranging sexual and style preferences.
I hate the facial tattoos though. So much. Not so much that I don't find them interesting, I do. But to me it marks the obsession with celebrity to a level I find absurd. They see the musicians, rappers, singers and artists who probably have millions of dollars for what was probably a huge amount of struggle, persistence, and down right hard work. They copy the look, somehow thinking they are then in that same iconic space, yet they may still live with mum and work in halfords. Those tattoos then marking them for life as how they felt about themselves in their teens or early twenties. I think it's utterly tragic and unfortunate.

Blokes have been slapping product on their hair and bathing in old spice for decades.
Why is this seen as such a major thing??
Everyone will deny it of course but those who object will be trying awfully hard not to type puffters or some equally forward thinking phrase.

I worked with a guy 17 years ago (RBS branch banking) who wore foundation/concealer, he did it to hide what he considered to be bad skin. Nobody batted an eyelid about it but if it made him feel better and more confident then fair play to him.
I have been called "A Poof" for using moisturiser by a chap in my local ! Blokes are their own worst enemies sometimes, irony was the bloke who scoffed looked like a slightly dehydrated Sid James who had woken up after sleeping face down on a wicker mat.
You just cant beat a good shave and then whacking some Clarins or Clinique on, but make up, probably not.

The only makeup I'll ever be buying is to confuse facial recognition.
Other than that if it makes you happy then go for it.
However, seeing what an empty monster the cosmetic industry is it seems unfortunate that a previously untapped swathe of the population would ever consider it.

I guess fashion is changing, I never thought I'd see guys wearing trousers and jeans that resemble leggings, so makeup looks to gather pace as fashion norms change.
Look at the guy to the left at the front with the lightning bolt socks and Fendi skirt
fashion shows have been pushing such looks for guys for years.Try and find a suit for an interview / work / event that isn't "Slim Fit" with trousers that look so tight, if you had a coin in your pocket, you could tell if it was heads or tails
