Trying to read an article on Forbes this morning, I started reading and scrolled down through the article looking for the section of interest to me, and suddenly this f
k-off huge advert appeared. The stuff shaded in green is the only area of the screen that is actually of relevance to what I'm looking for.

To be fair, the big advert did bugger off eventually, but I wasn't amused...especially as they don't let you view the page properly without turning off their AdBlocker.

1. I use FireFox, not Chrome. Prefer the browser experienceMakes life much better.
2. I have an ad blocker that works really well...and these sites detect it and won't let you view the content without disabling it. uBlock is on their list of ad blockers they detect too I believe

That seems to mirror some couples I know who rushed out to buy the biggest people carrier they could find as soon as their first child was born, because apparently they had ‘lots of stuff to carry with them everywhere’
The sane ones went back to something normal after a couple of years such as a BMW Touring.
