50th birthday gift for the bloke that's got everything

Inspiration needed guys. My best mate is 50 next week and want to get a nice gift. He got a very nice engraved hip flask for his 40th but I'm struggling with this one. He's a keen ale enthusiast, does shooting and has a passing interest in cars and bikes but not sure an automotive gift would be suitable here.

An ‘experience’ is a good idea - even if it’s a night out / meal with partners or whatever.

I’m a bloke that’s got everything - or at least, there’s nothing below £200 that I’d hesitate buying if I wanted it. So almost every present I’ve had isn’t quite what I’d have bought myself / wanted and most are absolute......

The other option is something consumable - a bottle of wine, whisky etc at a price that he couldn’t justify on a regular basis. Has the bonus that you might get to share it.

That sounds like a top shout there - for a drinker a budget of £200 should get a seriously nice bottle of whiskey/cognac

Following on from my previous suggestions, how about clay shooting in the morning, then a light lunch, then a brewery tour, then present a tankard at the end. That would make for a memorable and thoughtful present. Not sure if it’s doable within £200 though.

Yes - if it were me I’d be very happy with that amount going on one red and one sweet white Bordeaux, both ready to drink now(ish). But with all drink presents, the key question is what does the person like to drink?
